What does Raison D'être?

about Raison D'être & What we do

We are a group of professionals & corporations with diferent expertises who would proactively like to build a small eco-village in Shizuoka, Japan. We would integrate our our skills & expertises and apply them to the city innovation in Shizuoka region. Our like minded members are constitutes of various professions including international urban tastemakers & innovators /music labels / entertainers / musicians / environment activitests / architects / and non-governmental organizations in and around Tokyo.

Sustainable Alternative Living in Japan

At Suruga Eco Valley, we are planning to build in home land Shizuoka, our staffs, entrepreneurs, foreigners, artists and musicians would be able to live together. We are going to provide housing made with Banboo trees and a live concert stage for our entertainment as well as accomodation facilities for travellers.

Our history

Raison D'être Project, initiated by Nirvana Consultant KK was founded in 2018 and we offered various IT and entertainment services to local NPOs and now we are building our own community in order to build an eco-village in Shizuoka which facilitates sustainable living workshops, live entertainment offered by musicians, environmental preservation workshops. In 2019, the project as a whole has been certified as a Beyond 2020 project by the national cabinet.

Raison Detre hosted charity gala party for one of the most well known international humanitariam non-profit organization.

We started to manage musicians as a label and dispatch them to charity related events, In addition to this, we start music production as well as music relatred software development

First Step

As a first step, we are going to host live events and workshops to develop a like-minded community in and around Tokyo and the target area in Shizuoka simultaneously. In addition, we start a fund-raising for the project managements and assocaited expense to keep us going forward

Second Step

While we facilitate the community growth, we start to look for site premise and design the facility with an archtect. In this phase, we aim to construct a few accomodation facilities as well as live stages all made from Banboo tree and "Washi", traditional Japanese Paper

Money we raise for this project for each objectives

We have multiple objectives including the contruction of the site and raise public awareness of sustainability related issued that Japan confronted with. 　 In the embryonic phase of this project, we focus on events which varied from a small-to-mid sized workshop events for the sustainability and the climate changes to the large scale live festival. Once we earned enough revenue in the form of membership fees, we are going to invest it for the site constructions.
